The project

Training curricula, learning materials and the training of trainers are developed within the framework of the ECO-Motive project, for the education of rural disadvantaged people about ecological small scale farming. Agricultural professionals and experienced local farmers are provided with knowledge and pedagogical methodology to prepare them for the training of low-skilled, disadvantaged people, who are the end users of the project. The long-term goal of our program is to provide end-users with professional practical skills-ecological fruit and vegetable production, small livestock production, marketing and sales – that they can effectively utilize in their own garden, in community gardens operated by the local government, or in organic market gardens. Thus their social and labor market situation will improve as well.
